DeLee Suction Catheter

The Delee Suction Device with Mucus Trap is a simple suction device meant for newborn puppies who are not breathing well owing to aspiration of fluid during whelping. We recommend that it should be used on every newborn puppy even if they appear breathing well at birth. DeLee Style Suction Catheters are widely used for suctioning newborn puppy’s nose and mouth with gentle suction from your mouth. Do not fret, no fluid or any material will get to your own mouth.

The DeLee Catheter has two side eyes sized for maximal suction with a frosted finish for smooth insertion and removal of fluid or secretion. It has a forward placed Contro-Vac valve to reduce mucus spray-back.

The catheter is sterile, disposable, and included is a 20 cc(ml) mucus trap, a whistle-tip catheter, and a suction tube with a molded mouthpiece for easy suction. Its small flexible ends allow great precision to get the suction where it is most needed.The mouthpiece is designed to allow you to easily control the pressure you apply during suction.

It is disposable,but may be reused after proper cleaning and sterilization. We breeders are fond of this, but we should take hygiene serious.

The Catheter end size is 10Fr(3.3 mm), the Catch basin is 20 ml (cc). It is Sterile packed.This is a replacement to the DeLee Suction Catheter in the Puppy Whelping kit, should you need another one to replace the one that comes with your kit.
